An out of practice reader discussing the books I get around to reading.
So fun, TMI fact about me: When my mood gets really low, I crave horror. Like, seriously crave it. Not entirely sure why. My mom jokes that it's because it ensures that I can feel something, which I've made that same joke too.
I've been really struggling the last few weeks. Like I said, TMI. And I heard this book is really scary. Granted, the person I heard this from isn't a person I particularly care for, but I like Dean Koontz and I thought I read somewhere that aliens are a part of the story and aliens REALLY scare me, so I figured I'd give this one a go. Hopefully it hits the spot.
