An out of practice reader discussing the books I get around to reading.
A few years ago a friend's roommate read this book for a class, so up until now the only thing I knew about this book was that it had to do with gods/mythology and a woman eats a man with her lady parts. Which, I got to that part and it was weird. But that's besides the point.
I've been wanting to read this one lately, the library had it, so I went for it. The Martian will be my laundry day book, in case you're wondering about that. So we'll see how it all goes. I liked Stardust and Neverwhere so I'm sure American Gods won't disappoint.
